Located in Levittown in the shopping center with Ulta and Mandee's at 3355 Hempstead Tpke, it is great for dining in or taking out. The restaurant boasts authentic Italian cuisine. The pizzeria has our heart though. A deep dish slice from Portofino's is an indescribable experience. The crust is a little crispy on the outside and cooked perfect in the middle. The toppings are gourmet. Our favorites are chicken ala vodka, vegetable, and eggplant parmagiana. It is literally a gourmet meal on top of a deep dish slice of pizza. Amazing. If you are interested in ordering a whole pie, they will customize your toppings with anything you'd like! My family's last order-deep dish pie topped with fried calamari!
